ArtifactsMuseum Artifact WWII Arizona Wing CAF

The artifacts that the Arizona Wing display are reminders of our history and the heros whose lives we celebrate. A Navigator's drift meter that was found in 1980 buried in Zerfeld, Germany, from a crashed B-17 bomber in 1943. These artifacts are enormously important in keeping our past history alive for future generations and the Museum welcomes donations of historic memorabilia

Artifact Information:

It is very important for the Museum to learn as much as possible from the artifacts being accepted, history of artifact and who is donating the artifact. Artifacts from soldiers, airmen, sailors, marines, WACS, WAVES and home front are all appropriate.

Buy a Commemorative/Memorial Brick and Remember a Veteran or Someone Special

Please consider a $50 donation in a veteran's name or someone special that you would like to be remembered for their contributions in time of peace or conflict-whether they fought or served on the homefront. The donation buys the donor a name on a "Commemorative/Memorial Bricks" in gold lettering in the "Commemorative Garden" just south of the main entrance of our Museum. The names of those honored and the donor will appear in a special registry located in the Museum.

Cash DonationsEntrance Arizona Wing CAF

The Arizona Wing gratefully accepts cash donations to help offset some of the costs of aircraft and museum operations. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Your donations will help to ensure that the Arizona Wing will be able to display and fly its aircraft and artifacts as a flying museum to the public. You'll have the opportunity to support the Museum during your lifetime and in perpetuity. Donors can also donate to a particular aircraft of their choice. As a non-profit organization, we are able to offer donors the maximum charitable tax deduction permitted by law. You may wish to make a current gift based on this year's tax situation and to distribute grants from the donation in future years. With planned giving, you will be keeping our history alive for years to come. You may be able to reduce income and estate taxes, pass property tax-free to heirs, receive increased income for life and still be able to leave a substantial amount to the Museum.

Steve Bates, Neil Stamp Memorial Aviation Scholarship Fund

On July 10, 2003 Neil Stamp and Steve Bates were lost in the crash of the Arizona wing's HE-111 Heinkel. The Arizona Wing has formally implemented a Memorial Aviation Scholarship Fund to honor their memories. The Bates/Stamp Memorial Aviation Scholarship Fund is endowed through the Chandler-Gilbert Community College, whose Williams Campus in Mesa, is home to the Aviation Program which trains students in a variety of aviation-related disciplines. The objective of the Fund is to support the education of students in ways that will reflect the values, dedication and passion which both Steve and Neil had for aviation.
